MBA Saturday Morning Service
Remember... We will be disposing of these service packets in a special manner due to writing G!d’s name. You are welcome to keep the entire service packet, but it may also be a good idea to only take the front and back cover if you don’t want to keep the whole prayer packet. Thanks!
“
Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering.

WHAT IS STRESS?
MBA SHABBAT SERVICES INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION 2008
Stress is a psychological and physiological response to events that upset our personal balance in some way. We all know what our response to stress feels like: heart pounding in the chest, muscles tensing up, breath coming faster, every sense on red alert. Whether we’re stressed over a looming deadline, an argument with a friend, or simply being late to class, the warning bells ring. If you have a lot of responsibilities and worries, you may be running on stress a good portion of the time. But the problem with the stress response is that the more it’s activated, the harder it is to shut off. Instead of leveling off once the crisis has passed, your stress hormones, heart rate, and blood pressure remain elevated. Prolonged exposure to stress increases your risk of everything from heart disease, obesity, and infection to anxiety, depression, and memory problems. Because of the widespread damage stress can cause, it’s essential to learn how to deal with stress in a more positive way and reduce its impact on your daily life. From HelpGuide.org
