2. Installation Notes It’s important that you follow these installation instructions closely as you need to pre-configure DotNetNuke BEFORE you install the module. Make sure that you are familiar with DotNetNuke and understand how to install a standard DotNetNuke module before attempting to install this module. Install this skin in a test area first before using it on a live website, to ensure that it is compatible with your current DotNetNuke setup. Current module only supports work on DNN5.11+, maybe there are many issues, please don’t hesitate to contact
[email protected] if you have any problems. You need to add the allowed file type in the File Upload Extensions in host settings, this will allow you to install the .js file in the module.
Log in as Host Go to the Host menu / Extensions Click “Install Extension Wizard” Select the file Dnnskin.Net.MGS.zip from folder "Module", then upload the selected files as wizard.
The module will be installed to the following location: \ Website\DesktopModules\Dnnskin.Net.MGS

3. Use Module You need to install the module first before you use it.
1) Add the module to the page
Log in as Host or Admin Select the Dnnskin.Net.Mgs module from module list, and select the right pane. Click “Add Module To Page”, the MGS module will be added to the page.
2) Set the module template
Log in as Host or Admin Click “Settings” in the module list actions. Select the right template you like and set the module settings including width, height, Rotating Speed, Border Width, Border Color, Title Color and so on.
3) Add content
Log in as Host Click “Add Content” in the module list actions. In the content new page, please input the Title, Image, More Link, Description and so on.
4) Manage contents You can manage the existed contents in the current module, such as edit content, delete content or adjust the content order.
Log in as Host or Admin for your portal Click “Manage Contents” in the module list actions. In the content new page, you can click the icon “Edit”, “Delete”, ”Move up”, ”Move down” to manage the contents.

2. Question: How can we achieve the same styles as your demo http://www.dnnideas.com/gridskin-blue ? Answer: First you need to add the module into the TopPane. Then select the MobileSlideShow template in the module settings from templates list. And please use the Empty Container in the module setting.
3. Question: How can we only add the images with the texts? Answer: If you don’t want to leave any texts when add the slides, please input “ ” for the title and leave blank for the description.
4. Question: How to adjust the slides order? Answer: If you have already added multi slides, please click “Manage Contents” in the module menu list, then click the move up or move down arrow to adjust the slides order.
5. Question: Why are there only templates? Answer: Current module version is Alpha, so there are only two templates, we’ll try to integrate more templates into the module.
6. Question: How much is the module? Answer: Currently the module is free, and included in the skin pack for the skin pack order user.
7. Question: How can we get the other effects? Answer: We can help you to customize the templates, you need to provide the template sample, then we’ll evaluate it, we’ll charge $40 each hour to customize templates if we think we can achieve it.
