Friday, October 11 th – Reception in Lyon. Reception of the teams in music with the "Fanfare Piston", Ecole Centrale Lyon’s brass band.
Saturday, October 12 th – Opening ceremony : official launch of the 2013 Europe Regional Jamboree ! With the presence of Roger Genet, representing Mrs Geneviève Fioraso, French Minister for Higher Education and Research.
Saturday, October 12 th – A succession of high-level presentations. With 4 parallel sessions within 5 presentation rooms, each team had 25 minutes to present their project and answer to questions in front of the judges.
Saturday, October 12 th – Social event on the Rhône after an intense day of presentations. On the program: the first informal awards ceremony, DJ and dance floor to relax and have fun together.
... highlights in pictures. Sunday, October 13 th – A closing ceremony livestreamed all over the world. Over 1000 followers from 31 different countries attended the closing ceremony through live streaming.
Sunday, October 13 th – iGEM from above : the photo and the first iGEM Flashmob – only seen in Lyon. At INSA Lyon, we rose up into the air with high-tech devices to arouse enthusiasm and capture every moment.
