Rachel Waldron is in her fourth year of service at St. Benedict Preparatory School. Ms. Waldron began as the Preschool Director and for the 2013 -14 school year is now the Head of Early Childhood overseeing the Preschool and Kindergarten programs. Prior t o arriving at St. Benedict, Ms. Waldron taught Kindergarten for six years at St. Mary of the Angels in Bucktown. She was also a member of the Early Childhood Leadership program through the Archdiocese. This pilot program created a network of Early Childh ood educators throughout the city and worked with schools to improve their programs . Ms. Waldron has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Saint Mary’s College an d a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Notre Dam e. Originally from Ohio, Ms. Waldron is still a Buckeye at heart and loves to travel, run and spend time with family and friends.
