PUBLIC NOTICE The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) invites applications for recognition of teacher training courses for the academic session 2012-13, except the States and UT(s) as indicated in para 2 below. Applications in the prescribed form should be submitted “ONLINE” to the concerned Regional Committee alongwith fee and essential documents as prescribed in NCTE Regulations, 2009 from 1st August, 2011 to 30th September, 2011 only. 2. The NCTE, with a view to achieve planned and coordinated development of teacher education system and in order to regulate the growth of teacher education at all levels, has decided, on the basis of state-wise study conducted on ‘Demand and Supply’ of teachers and also in consultation with the State Govts. / UTs, not to accept applications for recognition of teacher training courses including additional intake / increase in seats to the existing recognized courses for the academic session 2012-13 in the following states / UT(s) for the course(s) specified against each : S.No. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15.
