Because they gave him three gifts of fold, frankincense, and myrrh, it is commonly held that there were three wise men. Many believe the Magi were kings. Their visit shows that Jesus had come not only for his own people, the Jews, but also for all people of the world. Jesus is the King of kings.
Catholic Schools Week - Parent’s Choir Parents...do you like to sing? 2014 Spelling Bee Things are a-buzzin’ as we begin the new year! The Holy Spirit School 2014 spelling bee is just around the corner! Classes in grades 5-8 have been holding competitive rounds in their classrooms narrowing down the field to the top 4 students in each grade. A total of 16 top spellers will compete on January 17, at 10:30 a.m. in the Gym in front of the whole school! Parents are invited to come and watch the excitement as we determine who will represent Holy Spirit School at the Johnson County Spelling Bee and the Johnson County Catholic School Spelling Bee.
