There will be eight (8) homework assignments, due on September 27, October 4, and 11, and November 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. The problems will be posted on the course web page. Your best seven marks will count towards your homework grade. The assignments are due at the beginning of the lecture. Late assignments will not be accepted! Mid-term exam. The mid-term exam will be held on Thursday, October 18th, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Final exam. To pass the course you must obtain at least 40% on the final exam. 1
