PMP Exam Prep with MS Project The Management Academy (TMA) is a management and professional development consulting firm.

The Management Academy provides its clients with current project management, business, leadership, career development courses, and activities, to promote personal growth and professional advancement. Project Management Institute (PMI) certified instructors follow the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and its methodology, coupled with additional resources, to provide an active and engaging learning environment. In addition to case studies, role-play, visual presentations, examples, and explanations, the course engages students in sharing real-life examples of study topics, to increase learning and retention. Two (2) mock exams are also provided to simulate actual test conditions. Applicable to many different industries and business types, the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is one of the fastest growing and most sought professional development certifications. The PMP Exam Prep with MS Project course covers the nine knowledge areas and five process groups in a strategic manner, utilizing MS Project to enhance project management concepts and the skill levels necessary for successful project plan development. The course also provides a wide range of tools, techniques, and memory joggers, to enhance recall during the exam and beyond. Students receive verification of growth and proficiency of course material through comparison of pre-course (as part of first day of class) and post-course (last day of class) exam scores. Course Objectives The TMA PMP Exam Prep with MS Project course has four primary objectives: 1. To prepare students to utilize the global practices of the PMI methodology, coupled with MS Project, to successfully and professionally manage projects within scope, on time, and within budget

TMA services include PMI application assistance, an initial assessment, career advisement, one-on-one coaching and tutoring, a job bank and employment services. The course has a duration of 35 hours over four (4) consecutive days, OR once a week (4 hrs) for eight (8) weeks. Includes breakfast and catered lunch. Course Fee: $1,800.00 Course Content 

Coverage of PMBOK knowledge areas and process groups, along with various exercises, to reinforce learning and retention. Additional resources are provided for project management related formulas and calculations.



Each session ends with Q&As of the material covered, to further increase retention and speed of answering questions in a timed format. MS Project is utilized to illustrate course related topics and develop executable skills through software usage in project plan development.
