QUAKER BRAND NAME CONSOLIDATION QUAKERDRAW 6130, QUAKERDRAW 61A US and QUAKERDRAW 61 MAL HCL 1 will be branded as FERROCOTE 6130, FERROCOTE 61A US and FERROCOTE 61 MAL HCL 1 starting August 1, 2009. Only the brand name has been consolidated. The raw materials and manufacturing of these products has not changed. These products are currently used by most end-users as QUAKERDRAW, DRAW or FERROCOTE. According to Quaker, to eliminate the confusion surrounding formulation consistency they are eliminating the QUAKERDRAW registered trademark associated with these products, as well as DRAW, FERROCOAT, QUAKER and any suffix to the brand name that may be customer specific.
