Supporting Church: Tabernacle Baptist Church, Lebanon, MO. – Pastor, Don Ball Dear Pastor I am writing you about the burden that God has placed upon our hearts to help hurting and struggling Independent Baptist pastors and churches all across America. The Lord has given us a vision to strengthen and encourage these churches and pastors that are in need of help. To those who don’t have the resources nor the knowledge of how to work through their difficult times with or without a pastor. In the past fourteen years God has used us as pastor or interim pastor, and to help churches in their time of difficulty. For five years I have served as pastor at Westwood Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach Florida from 2006-2011. The church was about to close, with only around ten members present on the first Sunday we came. The Lord has blessed the church abundantly with the average attendance around seventy in 2011 and high of ninety seven. There have been many salvations and baptisms to the glory of God, with many of the members growing in their spiritual lives as well. We believe that God would have us to serve Him in this ministry of helping pastors and churches to recover and revive into a healthy functioning work for God’s glory. The Lord has prepared us through the years for this work of “Strengthening Church Ministries” for those who are in need of encouragement and help from someone who has been there. It is our prayer that God would allow you to see this burden along with us as we seek to minister to the Independent Baptist pastors and churches across America.
