It was thirty years ago when we went to Sequoia National Park to unwind from our busy schedule as session players in Los Angeles. While hiking, we paused to listen to the sounds of nature around us. We felt a deep sense of peace from these nature sounds and we were inspired to help other stressed out city folks like us experience it also. So we returned to make nature recordings, brought them back to our studio in LA and composed music for them. These were the first releases for our new record company, Sequoia Records.
