RANGE OF EXPERIENCE Robert Bowen began his professional career as an Apprentice Architect and draftsman for an architectural firm in Northwest Arkansas. After completing the requirements for an architectural apprenticeship and passing the Architectural Record Examination he received his architectural license in May of 1981. He took on projects that he could execute himself. Chief among these were a house for Donald Roller Wilson, renovation of the Willow House in the Fayetteville historic district and conversion of a 1950s era gas station into The Station Restaurant. In 1989 Mr. Bowen accepted a position as Project Architect for Medical holdings/Healthcare builders were he was responsible for the design and contract documents for a series of nursing homes in Missouri, Tennessee and Nevada. He was the company representative and consultant for institutional facilities in California, New York and Texas which due to their size and complexity and registration requirements other architectural firms were used. While with Medical Holdings, Mr. Bowen worked on new homes, additions and remodeling homes for the owners including a beach house in Ponte Vedra, Florida and a country estate on the Arkansas River. He was construction superintendent for two large additions to institutional facilities of 10 thousand square feet each. They both were completed on time and under the budget. In September 2000 Mr. Bowen began his employment with Burrough-Brasuell Corporation. Mr. Bowen is responsible for the architectural features of engineering projects and for the design and preparation of contact documents for various architectural projects.
