11. Pull on the seat track so you have enough clearance to reinstall the synchronizer cable without damaging the cable. Reinstall the cable. 12. Reinstall the seat frame to the track. Reinstall the four Torx bolts, and torque the bolts to 8 to 10 N.m (6 to 7 lb-ft). 13. Install the front cover and the center cover. 14. Install the seat riser, and torque the four nuts to 47 N.m (35 lb-ft). 15. Install the front seat into the vehicle, and plug in the connectors. 16. Do the idle learn procedure: • Make sure all electrical items (A/C, audio unit, defogger, lights, etc.) are off. • Start the engine, and let it warm up to its normal operating temperature (the cooling fans cycle twice). • Let the engine idle (throttle fully closed and all electrical items off) for 10 minutes. 21. For ’03 MDXs only: Do the power window reset procedure: • Turn the ignition switch off, then back ON (II). • Make sure the driver’s window is fully closed. • Push down on the window switch and hold.
