About us Mission Statement Cooper Motorsports is a student-run organization which prepares the next generation of industry leaders by providing students with the opportunity to design, fabricate and test a new race car from start to finish.

What is Formula SAE? Every year, the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) hosts a series of competitions to showcase the ingenuity and creativity of students from universities around the world. These competitions test the performance, reliability, and marketability of each vehicle. Teams compete in every area, from design critques to autocross races, all to impress corporate sponsors, automotive engineers, and marketing experts.

Our Team Cooper Motorsports

Cooper Motorsports is known for accepting difficult challenges. The first challenge the team takes on is to build the race car two stories below ground in the heart of New York City. The next challenge is to teach the next generation, whether they are team members or high school students, about the engineering design process, time management, and interpersonal communication. Overcoming these challenges and many more, Cooper Motorsports achieves success at every competition attended.
