P l a y Safe Surfaces is the UK’s leading installer of wet-pour rubber safety surfacing for use on children’s playgrounds.
We can transform all areas to take wet pour rubber. Solid standing areas of tarmac or concrete can be utilised immediately as they make an ideal base allowing for a quick efficient turn around. Grassed areas are transformed through groundwork preparation involving excavation and the installation of a hardcore stone base. We create safe colourful play environments to give maximum play enjoyment. We work closely with our customers from the design stage through to installation in achieving this. Couple this with a continuous seamless finish and a variety of stimulating colours to choose from works to create attractive play areas of stunning visual impact.

safety standards Where play equipment is present the depth of the wet pour surfacing required is determined by the operating fall height in accordance with BS EN 1177. All our wet pour surfaces adhere to the stringent requirements for all industry standard fall heights. Test certificates are available on request.

sports surfaces We can offer both Polymeric rubber surfacing and Astroturf for use on sports pitches. We prepare each surface to match the appropriate sport giving the optimum bounce, absorbency and safety. Durable court markings are then applied to the finished surface. The Polymeric system has the added benefit of slip resistance in all weather conditions.
