This study was carried out to investigate Strategies for Improving Female Students' Enrolment in Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Programmes in Rivers and Bayelsa States. A descriptive survey de~·ign approach was adopted. Three research questions and three research hypotheses were posed and formulated respectively to guid.? the study. A 27-item questionnaire structured on a four point rating scale was used to collect data for the study. The instrument was validated by four experts and the reliability coefficient of 0.85 was obtained. The population consists of ISO female final year technical education students and I30 lecturers of the tettiary institutions in Rivers and Bayesla states that offer programmes in technical education. The sample comprised I 00 final year students and I 00 lecturers. Data were analyzed using statistical mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions, while t-test statistics was used to test the hypotheses. The study revealed among other things, that female students poor performance in science related subjects at 0' level is one of the major factors that can cause their lack of interest to enroll in technicalvocational education and training programmes, proper guidance/counseling is not rendered to "students for their career choice, female students are not being encouraged to participate in science related subjects. There is no motivation for female students that are doing well in science related areas. Based on the findings, it was rec
