Eighth grade Summer Reading Assignment Over the summer you are responsible for reading TWO books for eighth grade Language Arts. Fill in the compare/contrast graphic organizer for each book you read. You can find copies of the graphic organizer on the 8th grade LA webpage. Come back to school ready to discuss your books. Our first writing assignment will be based on these graphic organizers. Book One Choose a book that was written by one of the authors we have studied in seventh grade. (It can’t be the same title that we read in class!) • •
