Next week is Communion Sunday Anticipate next week’s gathering. Look forward in expectation to the sharing that will take place. Live this week in a way that heightens your awareness of your need for Christ and your hope in his grace.

Participate in the gathering. Remember that “being together” is an expression of being the Body of Christ for the world. In a time of isolation and aloneness, a community gathers to share this event together.

Celebrate our Lord’s victory over sin & death. Christ has come to make all things new. Share the meal that reminds us that Christ’s Kingdom has come – and is still to come.

Praying the Bible: Psalm 48: 1-3, 9-11

Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain. Beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth, like the heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion, the city of the Great King. God is in her citadels; he has shown himself to be her fortress. Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love. Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand is filled with righteousness. Mount Zion rejoices, the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments. Shut In: • Joyce Baum • Bessie Harkley
