The air cleaner element used in this motorcycle is a paper element type. If the element has become clogged with dust, intake resistance will increase with a resultant decrease in power output and an increase in fuel consumption due to the richer mixture. Check and clean the air cleaner element every 4000 km. According to the following procedure.
