I am always available in 266 Korman during the office hours that are posted on the website (http://www.pages.drexel.edu/∼schmutze/110-W-13/ ) and announced in class. You are also welcome to drop by outside of office hours, with or without and appointment. The advantage of making an appointment (by email) is that I am sure to be in my office. Tutoring Services: Tutors are available at the Math Resource Center in Korman 247 (for students in all introductory math courses, including Math 110). There is no charge for this service, and no appointment is necessary. This quarter, the hours are: • Monday through Thursday 10am - 7pm • Friday 10am - 5pm Catalog Description: Reviews topics from algebra, geometry, and trigonometry essential for the study of calculus. For students planning to take Calculus I Expected Learning: At the end of this course, you should be able to solve the relevant textbook problems on the following topics: functions and their graphs, compositions of functions, polynomials , exponentials and logarithms, trigonometry, arithmetic and geometric sequences. See the course calendar for more details. After successfully completing this course, you will be well prepared for Calculus.
