*This schedule is a tentative plan for the term and there may be minor changes during the term in order to ensure that we cover all needed material prior to each examination. Pre-Requisites: 1 year of General Chemistry (CHM 1045/CHM1046) with a grade of C or better. Grades: There will be four mid-term examinations (100 pts ea) and one final comprehensive exam (300 pts). The lowest exam grade will be dropped but you are expected to take all exams. There will be NO Make-up exams, if you miss an exam that will be the grade dropped. You must earn a C on the final exam to obtain a C or better in this course. Total points will be 600 pts. Final grades will be based on the distribution: C ≥ 60%; B ≥ 75%; A ≥ 87%. Homework: Assigned problems will be posted on my website.
