The vehicle's suspension systems maintain a constant vehicle ride, irrespective of the load and its arrangement, thus increasing safety and driving comfort. Furthermore, the manual adjustment option allows to adjust the load threshold while the vehicle is stationary lowering it by 5 cm.

The 90, 130 MultiJet and 165 MultiJet Power versions are provided with electro-hydraulic power steering system which reduces the force required on the steering wheel for parking manoeuvres and guarantees maximum accuracy at high speeds. Steering assistance is guaranteed by an electric pump controlled according to vehicle speed and steering wheel turning speed (and thus independently of the engine rpm).

This is an electronic system that controls vehicle stability in the event of tyre grip loss, helping to maintain directional control. The ESP system is therefore particularly useful when grip conditions of road surfaces change.

This is a traction control system that cuts in automatically every time one or both drive wheels slip. According to slip conditions, the ASR intervenes either by reducing power transmitted by the engine or by automatically applying the brakes to the wheel which is slipping.

They notify the driver of the distance between the vehicle and any objects behind it. The system is activated with the reverse gear engaged and operates with four ultrasound sensors. The approach to an object is indicated by an intermittent acoustic signal. A continuous acoustic signal indicates the maximum safe approach limit.

This is an integral part of the braking system, which prevents one or more wheels from locking or slipping regardless of the road surface conditions and braking intensity, ensuring control of the vehicle even during emergency braking.

The electronic system, an integral part of the braking system, distributes brake force between front and rear axles to optimise efficiency in all driving situations.

This system, integrated in the ABS, recognises emergency braking conditions according to the speed of operation of the brake pedal and provides an additional hydraulic braking pressure to support that provided by the driver. This allows faster and more powerful operation of the braking system.
