Thai Dessert Menu Thai Chocolate Silk Pie $4.95 or $5.95 with Fruits

A good Thai meal is not completed without a complimenting tropical fruit plate and or Thai dessert. Thailand‘s rich soil yields an extraordinary variety of fruits including more than twenty kinds of bananas, mangoes and of course the pungent durian! No matter when you come to Thailand, or whatever part of the country you visit, you’ll find fresh fruit vendors on every street and the wide choice of fruits available is sure to be a memorable part of your experience. Thai desserts, uniformly sweet, are particularly welcome after a strongly spiced and herbed Thai meal. Thai Desserts vary in taste, texture and flavor; from mild to very sweet, smooth texture to crunchy and from very aromatic to pungent. A simple Thai dessert generally consists of fruit such as banana, pineapple, mango, or sticky rice, egg, and sugar, with coconut milk. It‘s easy to prepare, but has a wonderful flavor. Surprisingly, a touch of salt added to Thai desserts balances the taste and flavor of the dish as it is a part of Thai culture and Thai cuisine where all things are in balance. So, after a wonderful Thai meal at SATAY, may I suggest some Thai desserts that we offer in this menu or ask your server about our Menu Board Special.
