Quick Intro Sally here, from Sallys-Ebooks, I will now take your through each stage of my own ebook blueprint. Please note, you do not have to follow all the steps I have suggested, and if you think you can make a step more productive for you then feel free! I basically wrote this quick guide for newbie ebook sellers to give them some sort of path to follow when selling ebooks.

1. Ebooks With Resell Rights For the Ebook Blueprint to be a success you will need ebooks with resell rights. Upload the Ebook To Your Hosting As the ebooks you have are on your own computer, they are not accessible as yet to people online. So you have to upload your ebook to some web space online, commonly referred to as Web Hosting. You will normally pay a small fee for hosting your ebooks on the internet, There are free hosting Options but for the Ebook Blueprint these are not an option as they stink of “I am an Amateur” which We definitely do not want! 3. Design your download page. You will not be providing a direct download link to your ebook. You will instead provide a download link to a download page, I have put a few links below for you as an example, feel free to download the ebook(s). Now designing a download page IS NOT HARDWORK and it will be worth it believe me! First you will need to learn some html, don’t worry I will provide you with a standard download Page to make the job much easier! First you will need an html editor that allows you to edit html web pages. Wasn’t that easy!



3.1. Download Page Requirements These are my own suggestions and NOT CARVED IN STONE ! Feel free to use any methods you choose on your download page, these are merely suggestions that I know work as I use them myself. a). Audio b). Ebook Download Link (The buyer wants the ebook they paid for) c). Free Bonus Download (This would be a branded ebook containing your affiliate links) d). Sign Up Form (This is to start you on the road to building a mailing list) a). Adding Audio Adding audio is very simple, get yourself some audio software, you can use the same one I did from the free download link below: Web Audio Plus Download Click Here You will obviously need a set of headphones with a mic, or a mic by itself, you can get either cheap from most shops or stores, or why not try the most famous bargain place of them all…Ebay! Now all you do is record your message and upload the audio file to your web hosting etc etc.



b). Ebook download link This is very straight forward, you provide a download link for the book the buyer purchased , after All that’s the whole reason they are visiting the page isn’t it! So remember to put a link for them to access their purchase. c) Free Bonus Download AND / OR Affiliate Link This is entirely optional but how many times have you been to the shops and bought an item then the shop assistant tells you that you get xxx free with that purchase. We all love something free, so find a bonus (try to make it related to the initial ebook that was purchased) and add it to your download page. You could use an ebook branded with your affiliate link or you could simply promote an affiliate link to a product. Here are two of the most popular affiliate product websites: www.clickbank.com www.paydotcom.com You will find literally thousands of products to promote on your download pages. d) Sign Up Form Ok if you are not collecting buyers emails then I would honestly say stop selling ebooks. Seriously, the main part of selling ebooks is being able to send future offers etc etc. This is where you will begin to make serious profits on auto-pilot. First you will need an autoresponder: I use Aweber. I tried free auto responders, auto responders on my website and none of them worked as well as Aweber continually does. If you use an inferior auto responder, more than likely very few of your emails will even end up in a subscribers inbox, this is one place where you don’t want to cut costs and opt for a cheap or free auto responder.



Just use Aweber click here. It will cost you about $19.95 a month (last time I checked) but there are fast ways of recovering this money back by using the emails in your Aweber Account. 4. Add Your Ebook Listing To Ebay Ok now we have everything in place it’s time to add our ebook auction on to eBay. For some great tips on listing your item on eBay etc etc visit my online newsletter and be sure to read the archives. http://www.sallys-ebooks.co.uk/newsletter.php



4.1. Using a Standard Ebay Template I advise every single ebook seller to use a standard eBay template, not only does it benefit you greatly, but it enhances your professional appearance as an ebook seller. Ebook Sells on Ebay Ok, so your ebook sells on eBay well done! Not much explaining to do here is there! Of course if your ebook did not sell then simply re-list it!



6. Digital Delivery Software Sends Out Link Once the ebook has sold, your digital delivery software will send out the link, to the download page! Not to a direct download link as we discussed above. There are two main contenders for Digital Delivery of Software. MyDD and SmartDD. This is your choice entirely and both software products do much the same and cost is not much different either. This is where I would suggest your purchase a membership to EPA. With your one time payment to access EPA you will also receive free access to SmartDD which is a great saving! 7. Buyer visits download page Once the buyer has received their download link in their email from your digital delivery software they will obviously visit your download page. This is where they will be presented with 3 options… Download Their Ebook Download Free Bonus / Visit Affiliate Link Sign Up To Your Mailing list. 7.1 Download their ebook. This does not take much explaining either, it’s pretty straightforward the buyer downloads their ebook. You could however add a few extra files into the zip folder ie. “readmefirst.txt” This a text file that you compose which will say thank you for your purchase why not get more great ebook titles simple visit www.yourwebsite.com.



“bonus folder” You could add a bonus folder containing some free ebooks, all containing your affiliate links. There are many possibilities here, so try and implement a few of them. 7.2 Download Free Bonus / Visit Affiliate Link Once the buyer is on the download page they will have see the offer of a bonus ebook / or affiliate link that you have added, you may have added both I don’t know! Remember that your bonus ebook should contain your affiliate links! If you are using an affiliate link, make it related to the subject of the ebook initially purchased to have more chance of a conversion or sale! 7.3 Buyer Signs Up To Your Mailing List BINGO! This is exactly what you want, ideally you want every single person who visits your download page(s) to sign up to your mailing list.



Then you can make money from your pre-written emails and by sending out future offers.
