Three Stages: o Jesus was chosen by the Holy Spirit to fulfill God’s promise of a Messiah for his people o Jesus performs his miracles during his earthly mission and suffers and dies for us to have eternal life o The Holy Spirit guides the early Church to carry on the mission of Jesus after his death until his second coming Luke presents the Holy Spirit as a dove, a flame, and wind Jesus received the Holy Spirit from the Father to give to the Church after his resurrection
