High Data Rate (HDR) F Connector
Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions offers a network grade captured pin F-Connector plug and full socketed jack design.
■ Jacks have 360 degree machined socket constructions not the metal stamped bobby-pin design so often used in pre HD CATV networking.
■ Plugs feature a captured center contact fixed pin with 30 millionths of gold. In traditional pinless F Connectors, the wire center conductor is exposed to the outside environment which can enable oxides and other insulating films to form on the conductor surface. The HDR F connector was designed and engineered to reduce connector failure in the field, reduce network maintenance cost, and assure continuous high performance in broadband networks for applications.
