We used Alcian Blue (AB) and dimethylmethylene blue (DMB) methods to measure glycosaminoglycan (GAG) excretion in the first morning urine specimens of patients with osteoarthritis (OA), ankylosing spondylitis (AS), and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in different stages of disease.
