Theme

The health of the population depends on the quality of environment including air, water, soil, food and many others. The aim of society is to call for measures that can eliminate or considerably reduce hazardous factors from the human environment to avoid the associated health risk. The quality of our local living environment has a direct impact on our health and well-being. An unspoiled environment is a source of satisfaction, improves mental well-being, allows people to recover from the stress of everyday life and to perform physical activity. Protecting our environment and natural resources therefore remains a long-term priority for both our generation and those to come. The ability to achieve these objectives depends on the development of better techniques of measurement and modeling which predict appropriate assessment of risk and allows for new solutions. The interaction between environmental risk and health is often complex and can involve a variety of social, economic and lifestyle factors. The Proposed International Symposium calls for papers on the major themes related to the environmental impacts with focus on Risk Assessment, Management, epidemiology, toxicology and human behavioral sciences. The environmental health study and practice, is increasingly becoming complex as we learn more about the interactions between genetics and environmental exposures. The Seminar will have plenary / invited lectures, panel discussions, interactive sessions, oral and poster presentations. The major themes are: Occupational health ● Epidemiological studies Air Pollution ● Nature-Human health interactions ● Food and safety ● Nanoparticles and health ● Environmental education and risk abatement ● Free radicals and oxidative stress ● Emerging substances and mixtures ● Genetics and Genomics ● Environment, epigenetics and early programming ● Nutrition and health ● Neurotoxicology and behaviour ● Toxicology and Toxicogenomics ● Cancer biology and therapeutics ● Marine ecology and aquaculture ● Water quality and water borne diseases ● Medical Toxicology, Trace elements in human health ● Toxicity Assessment and Epidemological studies ● Global Pharma R&D Strategies ● Human Health ● Environmental Biotechnology ● Biodiversity conservation, conservation of Medical Plants ● Early life environmental effects on later life health Special Symposium on Cancer Biology & Therapeutics Environmental exposure and genetic abnormalities such as mutations are associated with several human diseases including cancers. Cancers are complex diseases and responsible for approximately 13% of all deaths in the world. According to World Health Organisation, 70% of cancer-related deaths occur in low-to middle income countries. The number of cancer cases is expected to rise to 21 million by 2030. Eminent scientists around the globe will present their current research in this field. About the University Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, came into being, fulfilling the long-cherished dream of the people of Nellore district, by Act No. 29 of 2008 enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh.
