Principal Position Confirmed We are pleased to announce that the Principal’s position at Canobolas Public School has been finalised and Shaun Dixon was the successful applicant. He is extremely excited and looking forward to continued positive partnerships with staff, parents, students and the wider community. Our staffing arrangements will remain as they are for the rest of the year. P&C Billy Cart Day A - Huge Success! Perfect weather, highly engineered carts, a sausage sizzle, enthusiastic parents and excited children were all part of a fun filled day of carting on Sunday. Laughter and smiles were shared by all, and no doubt there are a few muscles that could do with a radox bath as a result! Thank you to all for the wonderful help provided by parents and staff. What a fantastic day! OSSA Cross Country A very strong and well prepared team of runners will compete at Cudal this Friday at the OSSA Cross Country Carnival. It is always a well organised and enjoyable day. We wish you all luck and look forward to hearing positive news about your personal and collective achievements. NAPLAN National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy - is the measure through
which governments, education authorities and schools can determine whether or not young Australians are meeting important educational outcomes. Students in years 3 & 5 will be tested next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
