BRRRR…IT’S COLD OUTSIDE Sometimes during the winter it is too cold to go outside. I like to read books about snow while sitting next to a warm fire with a cup of hot chocolate. Here are some books to read on a chilly day. Look for them in your library: • Cam Jansen and the Snowy Day Mystery • Henry and Mudge and the Snowman Plan • Dora’s Chilly Day • Babysitters Little Sisters Club Karen’s Ice Skates

DID YOU KNOW? From Green Eggs and Ham to The Bippolo Seed, here is another book you can read. Read it standing on your head; read it when you’re snug in bed. If you haven’t heard, Dr. Seuss released a new book, The Bippolo Seed and Other Lost Stories. It seems Dr Seuss had published some stories in a magazine between 1950 and 1951. When these stories were recently discovered everyone was very excited and decided to put them in a book. See if your library has this latest book by Dr. Seuss.

MY FAVORITE THINGS I added some new books to the Series Bar that I think you’ll like. The Mysterious Benedict Society, Encyclopedia Brown, Flat Stanley, Super Chicken Nugget Boy, According to Humphrey, and Saxby Smart, Private Detective. See if your library has any of these series. If they don’t have them, ask for them!
