CLASSES Knitting 101: Beginning Knitting $105 (includes materials) Learn the basics of knitting: casting on, knit and purl stitches, binding off, and more. Crochet 101: Beginning Crochet $105 (includes materials) Learn the basics of crochet: chain, single and double crochet, increasing, decreasing, and more. After mastering these basics, you’ll be able to make anything from scarves to afghans. Hats for the Holidays $100 (materials to be purchased at the first class) Hats are a perfect holiday gift! Learn to knit in the round and how to use double pointed needles while making a simple hat. Once you’ve mastered the first hat, you’ll be able to knit all kinds of hats! Saturdays, November 11, 18, December 2, 9: 1:00-3:00
Project Knitting $100 (for 6 sessions) Bring a project you’re working on, or choose a new one! Learn new techniques and improve your skills while you knit the project you’ve been dreaming about. You’ll get the help and support you need throughout. Thursdays, 9:00-11:00am
Drop-In Knitting $25 per session or $125 for 6 sessions Drop in any Saturday to get help with your project or just hang out and knit or crochet among friends! This class is for those who already know the basics of knit or crochet. In the event a class is cancelled, an email will be sent out at least one day before.
Color Knitting $120 (includes book to be used in class) Learn a variety of color knitting techniques as you complete a baby blanket. In each week you will learn a new technique, then have two weeks to work on a panel incorporating that technique. In the last class you will work on putting the panels together and finishing. You must know how to knit and purl. Saturdays, January 20, 27, February 3, 10, 17: 1:00-3:00
Sock Sundays: Basic Socks $85 (includes materials) Learn to make a basic pair of socks and amaze your loved ones with a pair of handmade socks for the holidays! Sundays, October 22, 29, November 5: 9:00-11:00pm
Sock Sundays: 2 at a time on circular needles $85 (includes materials) Having trouble finishing the second sock? Learn to do two at a time so that you’ll always wind up with a pair! Sundays, November 12, 19, December 3: 9:00-11:00
Fixing Mistakes $45 Learn to deal with commonly made mistakes to eliminate frustration with your knitting! Dropped stitches, unwanted holes, too many stitches or not enough: these are all fixable! You’ll also learn tips and tricks for avoiding mistakes. Saturday, October 28: 1:00-3:00
Finishing
$45/one session Learn the skills needed to give your finished projects a professional look. Learn to seam, pick up stitches, how to make buttonholes, and lots of tips and tricks to make finishing actually fun.
